So I’m a freshman at a LAC in the midwest, and I’m not 100% sure it’s worth the huge price tag. I know that I haven’t been here for very long, and obviously I’m gonna stick it out for the rest of freshman year, but I still feel like I don’t really belong here. I’m in a bunch of student orgs and I volunteer pretty often, but I still haven’t really found my niche, and I’m finding that I dislike how small the college is. Additionally, the workload and content of the classes is really easy and I don’t feel like I’m being challenged.
It’s also really expensive, so I figure if I wanna transfer somewhere a little bigger and cheaper my best options are in-state (VA), so I was looking at W&M, UVA, GMU, and VCU (maybe CNU or JMU?) I’m most likely going to declare a double history/education major next semester, so there’s that to contend with.
Any ideas for schools/advice about the transfer process?
