Should I bother to try?

<p>Hey everyone, I applied to UCI for Information and Computer Science. In October I was denied the TAG because I was taking calculus at the time and it wasn’t completed yet. When I applied, I did not list an alternate major since I thought that I would be accepted after I finished calculus. I was really wrong with that choice and didn’t get admitted. Is there any way to appeal for a less impacted major such as humanities since I did not select an alternate major, or should I just wait for winter quarter admissions? </p>

<p>its not likely, but you could email them and describe your situation. you can apply again during winter and complete your requirements and maybe list an alternate major this time around</p>
