<p>Should I bother with wait list? That is the question.</p>
<p>I just got wait listed at Penn (non-Wharton) and Cornell. Is it right for me to say that being on the wait list is basically the same as being rejected?</p>
<p>Well, this year has been pretty good, applied to only 6 schools; in at Rice, NU, Duke, Pittsburgh.</p>
<p>I would not bother with the waitlist. You have some excellent schools to choose from. There will be lots and lots of students who are waitlisted at both of those schools. Unless you have something more to offer than you already presented in your application, your best bet is to look at the schools that have accepted you and move on. Spend your time and energy trying to figure out which of the 4 you would like to attend and then celebrate!</p>
