<p>I eventually want to transfer into Stern but I may be applying RD to Arts and sciences should I even bother applying or am I rejected before my app even goes out?</p>

<p>There’s no reason why you shouldn’t try as you never know what admissions is exactly looking for, but your chances don’t look good at all. It would probably help if you came from an area without many NYU applicants (i.e. not Jersey). Are you a minority? That might increase your chances, but other than that, I’m not really seeing a way you can get in.</p>
