Regretfully, I copied my short common app activity essay from word to the text box and did the editing therein. And my quick lookover of the print preview failed to catch my mistake. Three of my dash marks were converted large capital "A"s with accents above them. It does somewhat impede the reading of the essay, but not enough for them to lose any bit of the meaning. Should I bother contacting admissions to let them know of the error?

Nah, they understand that stuff - technical errors.

I noticed on my daughter’s print-out, there is a strange looking S with a mark above it in the place of her dashes. Again, I would think they’ll realize it’s not something she intentionally typed in there.
