Should I bubble in "American Indian"?

<p>I’m 1/16th Cherokee, and you only have to be 1/64th to register as Cherokee.</p>

<p>However, I’m not officially registered YET, so will it still be okay to bubble in “American Indian”?</p>

<p>So long as you will be by the time you attend college, yes.</p>

<p>Oh, and by the way, filling in that “American Indian” bubble doesn’t really mean anything. It’s just for statistical data.</p>
