Hello!

Like many of you, I took the October 2014 SAT test. I think I did fine on the sections, but I felt that my essay was absolutely terrible. I was thinking about canceling my score because my last example was really, really bad… I talked to all of my friends about it and they all questioned why I even wrote that example on my essay because it was so bad. I ran out of time for my last example and I somehow ended up implying that slavery could be considered as community service and used it as my example, but I had no intention of implying this nor do I actually believe this and I made something up with the 3 minutes that I had left. It was after I left the test center when I realized how badly my essay took a wrong turn.

Also, I don’t want colleges reading this essay because it was definitely the worst one I have ever written in the time I spent preparing. My thesis also kind of goes against what I’m talking about in my college essay.

Is it better to cancel this test or keep it to see how I performed? I have early decision deadlines and I won’t be able to take another SAT until December (Nov is for one of my subject tests)

I’m sorry if I’m in the wrong forum or if this is incoherent, it’s way too late.
