Should I cancel my score?

I got 620 on V and 700 on M last Oct.
Today, I took it again…and screwed it up!
I think I will get 550~580 on V and 760~780 on M.

SHould I cancel my score?
I want to major in Engineering,
so I guess it’s better for me to have a higher math score…
But i think my transcript shows that I’m good at math (took Calculus in 10th grade and got 5 on BC) Maybe it won’t matter…

I heard that most colleges take the highest score for V and M separately(which I don’t believe, really), but for UC, they take the highest score on a single sitting…and I’m applying to UCSD bioengineering.

What do CC experts think?
If the composite score will be the same, better to submit a higher verbal score or a higher math score? (considering the fact that I’m Asian, female and a non-native English speaker)

PLZ HELP ME!

well, colleges take the highest verbal and the highest math from all your test dates. If you think you did better on the math this time, I wouldn’t bother canceling.

i am no expert, but i dont think you need to worry (or waste your time) about canceling your score. it’s ohkay. and who knows.

You may surprise yourself with how well you did. Don’t cancel.
