【Should I CANCEL the Writing Part?】

<p>I took the Oct test and scored 30 (E30 M33 R27 S30), but I screwed up on the Writing Portion.</p>

<p>I only finished 1 introduce paragraph, 2 body paragraphs and one more sentence as my 4th paragraph. ( don’t even have a conclusive paragraph).</p>

<p>Should I cancel the WR section. Actually I already cancelled the WR section on the test date.The instructor put " Void Writing" on the first line of my paper. But should I figure some way to not cancel it? Since there are a lot of colleges ask for the WR score. </p>

<p>Let’s say if I do not cancel the score, a low score like 5 can have what affect on me?</p>

<p>Sorry, but as far as I know it’s not possible to cancel just the writing part. And from the moment you break the seal you cannot decide not to have it corrected, not sure what your proctor actually did… could you elaborate a bit more?</p>

<p>At the end of the day, if you do cancel your writing score somehow you would still have to retake the whole test if you want to join college that requires writing. So just keep it and if you do not like the writing score just retake the whole test.</p>
