I want a 5 on AP Biology.
I have been studying the Cliff’s book for a month. Meticulously underlining each section and doing the multiple choice/essays at the end of each section. I’ve made about 300 flashcards that I carry around and look over from time to time (had my boyfriend quiz me on about 200 last weekend). I’ve carried an A average in my Biology class easily because I’m going into pre-med and it’s something I enjoy (in addition to it being my intended major).
I skipped over the ecology section in Cliff’s because it’s mostly common sense and read over the labs that we haven’t done in class (about 3). I will do the MC for that section tomorrow.
To be frank, I’m goddamn tired. Is it necessary to continue on til the bitter end? How much could I possibly learn in a week…??

the biology exam is really easy if you think you know the material even decently well. most of the people in my class got 5s (even ones with Bs and Cs)

I feel the same way about some of my APs. I wouldn’t recommend putting a stop to the studying, but maybe scale it back now. Keep going, but not nearly as intensely as you have been. You’ve studied a lot, so now just keep things fresh in your mind for the next while until the test by just glancing over a topic here or there.

I’m still a little iffy on the Calvin cycle/Photosynthesis/Citric (Krebs) cycle but I think I can get through it alright.
Human anatomy was my biggest worry but I’ve resolved that now. I can’t believe I covered all of that material in only a month on my own (my teacher was a bit lackluster and I had to do some serious reviewing)…

i wouldnt worry. i had trouble understanding photosynthesis/cellular respiration (i really only understood electron transport chain because of chemistry) and i only missed 11/120 MC on the practice exam. the real exam was a tad more difficult but not much at all

@proace360 - what was your final score? (if you don’t mind me asking)

Lol, I took a practice test last year about a week up to the test and I got a 2. I was like OH SNAP.

So the weekend before the exam I read Barron’s from cover to cover. I ended up with a 5.

@HYPSMhopeful - LOL. OH SNAP.
I think I got a 4 on a practice exam toward the beginning of the year but I’ll continue doing practice problems I suppose. Thanks for the help! :)
