Should I DBL major in EE & BME?

I’m currently transferring to a 4 year, and the adviser thought I should do both since I can’t decide amongst them. Would the combination of both Engineering disciplines look more appealing when it comes time to job hunt? Is it worth the extra time and money?

I dont know about double majoring as I minor in biomed and major in ee, but I found that it really depends on the company that hire you. I found that on interships I tend to get more interviews when I mention my biomed minor on the resume but I found that its the other way around when I graduated; leaving biomed out provides better results. Why not do Msc in Biomed instead?

The reason I’m considering majoring in both EE & BME is that I heard having both would help me gain a position in an R&D type company without my masters.

Well, i dont know if that is true, but have you try and get a summer or coop research position at school before? I suggest you try it first and see if you like it. I thought that I liked it until I was doing research in bioelectricity for a prof during summer.
