I am writing USC application essay. The prompt is:
Thomas Edison failed many times before successfully inventing the modern electric light bulb. He said, “If I find 10,000 ways something won’t work, I haven’t failed. I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.” Reflect on an accomplishment you achieved in an unlikely way.
Well, what i really want to do is to write SEVERAL accomplishments i have done that changed my opinion and character. But i am really not sure writing SEVERAL accomplishments will be a good idea when it’s says “Reflect on an accomplishment you achieved in an unlikely way.”

if they are all really closely related then it should be ok. however, lots of different topics make an essay rushed and you only have so many words. I think it really is better to focus on one and do a really good job.

If they are closely related, as the previous poster said, the essay should be good. Make sure you talke about your dedication to complete those activities.
