Hey everyone,

I made a huge mistake and didn’t apply to enough schools (wish I would have found this site earlier). Anyway, for my Dartmouth Application one of my friends wrote an excellent peer review and I was wondering if it would be to my advantage to send it to some of the other schools I’m applying to (Cornell, Princeton, Duke, etc.) unsolicited. Would this be a good idea? Also, in a related question for my Princton app, I wrote an pretty good essay detailing my self-transformation for a fat, shy nerd into a succesful runner (not successful enough to run on a collegiate level though). Since I don’t have any other hooks like being a URM, winning a national competition type thing, or being overly spectacular at anything except school, I thought that it might be helpful to showcase my dedication to improvement.

Would colleges like to recieve this extra material, or would it be seen as too pushy?

PS. I have good stats 2260 SAT and 790MathII and 780Chem with a 3.87 GPA, I’m also an Eagle Scout and I participate in a bunch of ECs, but nothing too spectacular. I just really need that little hook.

Thanks
