Should I do this?

So I have a 670 and 680 on the Critical Reading and Writing sections of the SAT

People tell me that having a 700+ is generally good, but the difference between a 670 and a 700 is many times just 2 questions or so.

will it make much of a difference if I retake the SAT and end up with low 700’s on the tests?

if you can get them both over 700, I’d say it’s definitely worth taking

You should definitely try, especially if you think those scores don’t reflect your ability.

Um, if you think you can…I have a 680 reading and 690 math and I knew I couldn’t bring it up b/c that was after my 2nd time, so I chose not to take it again. But I’m not so sure it would make a big difference, you’d still probably be in the same SAT range.

It depends on what else you have.
My friend, who is a math/science genius, only got a 690 on Critical Reading and is currently an MIT student.

lol. what’s how smart is genius? what were his stats/awards?
