So I am at UCC and was planning on taking the basic courses to be able to transfer into NJIT as Computer Engineering major. For NJIT, the curriculum for Computer Engineering requires a Chemistry class and I have spoken with NJIT counselors and they told me which one at UCC would transfer. HOWEVER, I no longer want to major in Computer Engineering and instead want to major in Computer Science. There is no chemistry class in the course curriculum for Computer Science majors at NJIT. Will the class still transfer into NJIT (will I still get the credits)? Or No? If not, should I just drop the class as its a waste or ?
