Should I drop?

I tested out of the first two semesters of French, so I registered for the the third, but I’m having second thoughts. It’s not necessary to my major (ChE) and I was told that the School of Engineering doesn’t have an option for a foreign language minor. Any thoughts, corrections or advice would be appreciated.

Here’s my course schedule as it stands:

You are scheduled for 6 classes and 15 hours for Fall 2009

50395 BIO 311C MWF INTRODUCTORY BIOLOGY I
53120 CH 301 MWF PRINCIPLES OF CHEMISTRY I (1)
13150 G E 001F T FIRST-YEAR INTEREST GROUP SMNR
14795 CHE 210 MWF INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTING
56840 M 408C TTH DIFFEREN AND INTEGRAL CALCULUS
36785 FR 312K MWF SECOND-YEAR FR I: FOUR SKILLS

That schedule is a hefty one, no doubt. But unless you plan on taking summer school you need to make sure and do 15hrs a semester to get done in 4 yrs.

The OP might have enough credits to compensate for dropping classes.

Drop the French. You already have bio, chem and caluclus + 2 other classes.
