Should I e-mail the universities if they don't reply?

Hi guys,

So a week ago, the university I’m applying for e-mailed to inform me that my application is missing the Official SPM Certificate (SPM is a high school exam where I’m from). However, I don’t have that cert - no one in my year has it because the Ministry of Education hasn’t released it yet. So I wrote back (the AO emailed me directly) to inform him that I don’t have it and explained why. I also wrote to say that my correct School and Mid Year Report is on the way (there was an issue in the initial submission, so my counselor mailed it again).

It’s been a week since then and he hasn’t responded. I’m sure that AO’s are super busy around this time, but I’m really worried that he might have not received the message. I can’t check my tracker for this because the certificate was never listed as missing, so it’s not like I can see from there whether or not he got my message.

Is it fine to email him again? Or is that just gonna annoy him? This is my dream school and I really, really don’t want technical errors to affect my chances in anyway.

Thanks!

Wait until you are reasonably sure the other items have arrived, then email to ask if he/she has received them. Reiterate that you are still waiting on the SPM and will send it as soon as it arrives.
