Should I enroll in Princeton Review 10 hour course?

I am dying to get into University of Pittsburgh main campus. I’ve been a high honor student since the 9th grade, have plenty of ECs and leadership positions, a great essay and excellent Letters of Rec, I also applied early (this June). I took the SAT twice so far. First time I scored a 1640, the 2nd time a 1700. I took a class which didn’t help at all. I then took it in June and scores 1700, after having studying the math a LOT. My math didn’t move at all from an abysmal 460. I’m getting desperate, and if it means putting in a thousand dollars or so for a tutor I’m willing to do so. My dads friend is the superintendant of a local school and reccomended Princeton Review. He said there’s a guarantee of a score raise, and I’m willing to put in the work. I only need help in math. My CR + W are right on for Pitt, but my math isn’t. Will 1 on 1 tutoring help me? I’m willing to do anything to atleast raise my score 100 points. I absolutely need to get into UPitt main. Thanks

I don’t have firsthand experience with Princeton Review, but I know that when I was getting ready to take my SATs, I took a summer course for SAT improvement and I started out with like 1750s and boosted to 2000. The summer course was for like a month and on all the sections. Also, I don’t know how applying to University of Pittsburgh works, but you might want to consider ACTs. I didn’t train at all, just flipped through an ACT prep book and got a 30 first try.
People are different so maybe it will help having 1 on 1 tutoring, but use your best judgment.
