I was reviewing my TAU the other day and noticed that it states “not enrolled” for summer 2016. I don’t like the way it looks on my application, but there is really nothing I can take during summer - I am taking my last major prep classes this spring, and my CC does not offer anything useful for an engineering major over a short summer session (6-8 weeks @ my school). Should I take something unrelated to my major (like art or history), just so that it does not seem like I am procrastinating, or should I just give myself a break (which I really really need - I am mentally and physically exhausted after maintaining 3.8 for 3 years, while working 50+ hours/week)? Would not being enrolled in the summer session put me at any disadvantage?
Ooops, I meant to post this in UC Transfers.
So I got tired of waiting and called both UCI and UCSD. According to both, it is ok to not be enrolled in summer before transfer. Moreover, ucsd admissions lady said they cross summer off your application, even if you report it. I guess I will take a break and pray for UCI.
