Should I even apply to The New School?

I've been hearing a lot of bad things coming from it and I already have like 10 other schools that I plan on applying to.

Should I

A) Apply anyways just incase I happen to get some full ride scholarship or something

B) Leave it off the list

I like the liberalness and openmindedness of the school, but during my college visit I got the feeling that it was full of a lot of people who really didn't care that much and just wanted to smoke cigarrettes.

What should I do?

If you don't like it there, and don't think you'd want to go there for 4 years, why even bother applying?

drop the new school. if you're expecting financial aid or a full ride you'd be better off with more reputable liberal arts colleges that has a larger endowment and don't necessary have students who are just there for "a look" or "a degree" if that makes sense. remember that the new school is attached to parsons eugene lang etc, so their endowment is spread out.

Look at schools like Pitzer, hampshire, New College of Florida, Bard, oberlin etc
