Should I even bother applying to Penn SEAS ED and Cornell CoE

<p>I have nearly perfect test scores (took the SAT for the first time and got a 2310), a rigorous schedule, and I’m ranked 1/483 in my school. My extra curricular activities are good, but I only have one leadership position. I don’t have any eyebrow-raising accomplishments that aren’t in the realm of academia. </p>

<p>I want to apply to Cornell and Penn as an engineering major. Do you think I have a chance?</p>

<p>Well, I know Cornell engineering loves female applicants with scores like yours. I think you have a chance as a regular applicant and a good chance with early decision. Although, I’d drop the laundry activity list. Good luck</p>
