<p>Hi. My whole life i’ve wanted to attent NYU collgege of arts and science (CAS) and now the time has come for me to apply. I applied using early decision and I wanted a second opinion on my chances of getting in:
-GPA= 3.54 (my school weighs honors and AP with an extra .025)
-All honors and ap classes since sophomore year
-1730 SAT (i know its kinda low)
-Student body president (and junior class)
-Vice president on state board of student councils
-10 seasons of varsity sports
-some volunteering here and there
-certified student leader
-peer minister
- i started my own debate club my senior year
-student of the month</p>
<p>There are a couple more things, but my main question is: IS THIS GOOD ENOUGH???
I know my gpa and SAT scores aren’t the best but im a good student. I challenge myself in school and Im in the top quarter of my class. My essay was very interesting and unique ( i highlighted my leadership qualities)</p>
<p>(OH yeah, if it helps, im also a minority. lol)
maybe im overthinking this right now, but its really hard to wait 2 whole months to hear if i got in. Thanx for reading this. Ur opinion would be appreciated.</p>
