So, I left the school that i’d been going to for about five years, to do my last year of high school somewhere else, coz we moved. since the teachers at my old school knew me for so long, i asked them to write the teacher recs. They wrote brilliant recs, but one of them said i was kinda ‘reserved’ and ‘quiet.’ Is this gonna hurt my application??
You see, since leaving, i started some new activities, and they’ve really upped my self-confidence and made me more outgoing… so what i was wondering is, should i write an essay about one of these activities, and how it’s affected my outgoingness??? i mean, do i absolutely have to, or otherwise it’ll look bad? coz i already have other essay ideas and stuff… but i’m applying to really competitive schools, and i’m an international, which means every piece of my application has to be stellar, right?

Anybody???

Well, being quiet and reserved isn’t necessary a bad thing. I mean, a lot of smart kids tend to be a bit more reserved. Seriously, stop worrying. It won’t hurt you.

Oh, ok cool, thanks.
