I bought a prep book for AP Lang last year, and I regretted it ever since. The only useful part of an AP Lang prep book is the practice test and essays, imo. I don’t want to make the same mistake twice.

absolutely not; unless you are planning on sleeping through the essays a 4 or 5 is almost guaranteed. although you should be decent at english to start with.

73.4% of the test takers weren’t conscious? AP Lit is considered one of the more difficult AP tests to get a 5 on. I am currently in the class and haven’t taken the AP Exam yet so I can’t make a definite statement

YellowDaisies: That exam is also one of the more commonly taken ones because it is offered at more schools. More people think they are capable of handling the course load and preparation for the exam with minimal work, and they do poorly on the exam (which would explain similar statistics for AP U.S., psychology, etc.).
