Should I get recommendation letters?

<p>I was deferred from Florida State University. I first had a 1050/1560 and a 3.73 gpa. </p>

<p>I recently took the SAT and got an 1170/1680 and raised my gpa to a 3.8.</p>

<p>I have a good resume, and good essay, i’m hispanic and in-state.</p>

<p>Should I send two recommendation letters or is it worthless? this is the school i want to go to. </p>

<p>i can get one from my english teacher for sure. but ill see if i can get one from my calculus teacher.</p>
