Should I give a shot at applying?

I’m just wondering at whether I have a decent chance at getting accepted RD. I know some of my test scores aren’t really that great.

Asian Female from Nevada

GPA: 3.8537 UW/4.7537 W
Rank: 2/336
ACT: 30 Composite
SAT II: USH - 630/ EBio - 600, not that great

Total of 8 AP classes and 11 honors including senior year

AP Bio and Chem: 1 (yeah, awful, I know.)
AP Calc: 3
AP USH: 3
AP Eng Lang: 5

ECs:

3 yrs of basketball JV and 1 yr frosh

FBLA State Conference 1 yr

~200 hrs volunteer

Founder and president of basketball club 2 yrs

NHS 1 yr and Officer this year

Business Externship at a bank

Marching band/drumline 1 yr

Freshmen Mentor

Chicago doesn’t even require SAT II’s

The question isn’t whether or not you should apply, but why do you want to apply to Chicago?

Chicago is not for the faint of heart. If you’re getting a 1 on an AP exam, you should seriously be reconsidering, because the studying here is INTENSE.

hey, you’re from Nevada? what part? I haven’t met anyone from Nevada here yet. I’m a first year from Vegas. In my opinionm you should go for it. You should totally apply, I mean like what’s better than challenging yourself to become better at something right?

Good luck,

:)

Apply! I can’t hurt.
