<p>It’s me TheGeek. I wanted to know if they would check my report cards from 6th and 7th grade if I apply for 10th grade. Currently I’m in 8th grade. Due to my bad grades in my report cards of 6th and 7th will schools like Exeter, Andover, Deerfield check it if I apply for 10th grade or will they just check 8th,9th and 10th? I wanted to actually apply for 9th grade this coming year. But due to my bad grades in 6th and 7th I lost my confidence and thought that I wouldn’t make it in this year. So I’m now planning to start getting straight As if I can and get a good SSAT score. So if there is any experienced students, please help me. Thanks</p>
<p>Yes, I’ve already told you. I know that u live in HK and they probably have other applicants from there and they ask for the grades since 6th grade so i dunno if there’s any way out of it. However don’t be to discouraged if they can see that your grades has contiously improved they will see it as a good thing so yes they will want those grades.</p>
<p>Yes they check all your middle school grades. Just go for straight A’s from here on out and it will help negate some of the previous grades.</p>

<p>However if you want to apply for 11th (most people don’t), I don’t think they ask for middle school grades. SPS only asked for my high school transcript.</p>
