I am a sophomore and last year I got all As and had one AP semester but this year my grades dropped and my UW GPA fell to a 3.77 overall from a 4.0 and I got a C as well. I have multiple ECs and a small amount of volunteering hours. I am planning to do way better this semester and next year too and I want to get in to Michigan. Do I have any chances left?

To answer your question, yes there is still hope left. Keep doing well on your volunteering and service hours. Take AP classes but not a lot where it kills you. Take the SAT until you feel confident with your scores for Michigan. You don’t have to apply to college for 2 years, so don’t stress too much about it now. Just keep getting good grades, and do things that you think will make a good impact on your application.
