Should I have written about my schedule in my apps?

Odd situation here - I was homeschooled (or rather, online schooled technically) up until the end of junior year. In 8th grade my middle school allowed me to take English for HS credit - so I ended up being a grade ahead in english my freshman year.
After freshman year I switched to a public school. Apparently the counselors thought I wasn’t ready for an English 11 class (IDK why, they seemed to think that I needed to “socialize” more with people my age. As if homeschooled students enter a black hole devoid of all people skills. Needless to say I wasn’t very happy with my schools’ counselors). So sophomore year I ended up taking no english course whatsoever. I hadn’t really thought about it until filling out USC’s application where you have to enter all the courses you have taken - there is no room for pre-HS courses so I plan to just start from 9th grade with my 10th grade english class.

Should I take the opportunity to write something about this in the optional answer section? To me it’s no big deal but I wouldn’t want colleges to assume that I dropped an english course somewhere.
