Should I include that I taught myself javascript?

<p>I’d put it in the Additional Information section, if anything it should look even better because you had the motivation to teach it to yourself, saying something about your maturity of character, etc.</p>

<p>Only if you can weave it into your essay - what I have done with computers. What about C? What about Assembly Language? What about the TCP/IP protocol? What about HTML?</p>

<p>Teaching yourself something is one thing, doing something with it is taking it to another level. Having a laundry list of “knowledge” is just that, a laundry list. What they want to know is what can you do with it? Once you have learned one programming language, it is much easier to learn others.</p>
