Should I include these EC's on the app?

<p>I was in my school marching band for only one year (freshman year) and in that year, we finished 2nd in the state.
I was in my school’s speech team for 2 years, and in one of those years, we finished 2nd in central indiana. </p>

<p>I was wondering if I should even include these things in the app because I didn’t really “commit” to these activities. I quit band after freshman year, and I only did the speech team for only 2 years of high school. But the awards that were gained in the activities would look pretty impressive in my opinion. </p>

<p>Would it be beneficial for me to include marching band & speech team (and the respective awards) on the app?</p>

<p>Speech will seem better if those two years are the last two years, as opposed to just Freshman and Sophomore year. However, assuming you were an active participant, you should include it either way.</p>

<p>Include both. Just make sure to put your EC’s in order of importance. Obviously I would hope those would be near the bottom.</p>
