Should I include?

When it talks about academic awards, I recieved a High Distinction (top 1%) for my state in English in the third grade. I also got a High Distinction in Writing (2nd in country of 4 million people total) for 5th grade. I havn’t taken the tests since but I’m wondering if it’s rather desperate to include such old awards seeing as I’m in 8th right now.

Don’t include them.

Are you Australian? The UNSW tests, isn’t it? I’d include the 5th grade one, only as it is a better result than the 3rd grade one and more recent, but then again, what do I know!

I’m including my results (Distinction in English and Writing in 7th grade - top 10% in Australia), but they’re more recent.

I would list both. It won’t take very much space to list them, and those are extraordinary results.

Im not Australian but I took those tests in Australia… They are the UNSW tests, although we always called them the Australasians. I had heaps of distinctions in the 5th grade in other subjects but seeing as they are so old I thought I’d omit them. Thanks for your advice!

I was just thinking that this might be enough for someone with my admissions folder to work out who I am. Should I be worried?

INclude awards 6th grade and up
