Well, I’m among the Yale rejects. I’ve gotten into a couple other schools though.

Central Michigan University
Grand Valley State University

I have an application in at Loyola University of Chicago, but I’ve been debating on whether to apply anywhere else or not.

I do like Grand Valley and my brother goes there, but I’ve been second guessing my decision to just attend their honors college since everyone who hears I applied to Yale and GVSU kind of gives a ‘well if you’re smart enough to even think of applying to Yale, you must just be lazy if you’re going to Grand Valley’.

Truth be told, though, I’ve only ever been to GVSU and MSU’s campuses and I’m still not really sure what I’m looking for in a college. I’m kind of having a little nervous breakdown because I am a senior, so I’m a little late in the game here, but I just don’t really know what I want or expect at college. I never really figured out the right way to college search. I feel like it’s all propaganda.

Definitely apply to Loyola; you’ll be happy you have options come spring.
Since you have limited time left, I’d google “college board,” take a college search there, and figure out, among all the criteria they give you, what you want. Size, locaton, public/private, cost, majors offered, extracurriculars - it’s all there.
Do about a day of researching the schools the website suggested (using sites like this one and others; NOT the college’s website), and then make a list. Try to find ones that accept the common app, and quickly send out your applications. Who knows? Maybe you’ll find the perfect college.
PM me if you have any other questions - I’d be happy to help.

Agree with the poster above. If you applied to Yale, you probably have some things going for you. You’re going to have to go through all that propaganda to come up with a decent list.
