Should I keep my unit triple or trade for a minisuite double?

He doubles on a single gender floor though. There’s a also a minisuite triple on a coed floor
Would that be best?

The thing is I requested my roommate for my unit triple so I know he’s chill, but I don’t want my floor to be so loud and crowded that I can’t study there

I need to get some hardcore studying done

If a quiet environment is a priority for you, a minisuite would be better.

ur way to obsesed chil out bro

I’m spazzing out bros

But I need a quiet environment at night

I guess I’m just gonna have to go to parties for the fun

Should I go for single gender
Or coed

How many people per floor are on a regular unit floor

^If you really need a quiet zone then the units are not the place for you. Per floor I think it’s around 30 people. Also, if the floor is single gender but the building isn’t, you won’t even notice the difference since generally people from 2 floors share a lounge.

Dam
I can’t figure out if the fun in the regular hall style dorms
Will outweigh the obvious drawbacks

Are parties where the most fun happens anyway?

Plus, since this is berkeley
There’s a good chance that might hall style floor won’t be that social anyway
And I might be able to get stuff done

I still got a lot of work done in the halls, it just depends on your attitude. The halls aren’t that crazy, there won’t be parties (unless you’re on that rare crazy floor–my building had one, everyone hated them). You really don’t need to stress about it, set some ground rules, be assertive (but not a jerk) and it’ll be fine!
