Should I send an email to NYU and let the admission officers know that it’s my top choice? Is it going to help? I also want to let them know that I’m interested at their LSP program. Should I do it? Will they ignore my email?

ive been wanting to do this too, do you have the nyu email?

technically, your essays and supplements should have already let NYU know that it’s your first choice.

EVERYONE is considered for LSP, so saying that you are “interested” in it is moot.

i havent been able to find the email for nyu does anyone have it?

As missamericanpie stated, your application should have reflected that nyu was your first choice. I would not suggest you emailing nyu. This school has so many applicants and I doubt it would impact their decision. If anything they might get annoyed. Right now, you should leave it up to them. In the meantime, don’t fret about the application. Even if you don’t get in, college is what you make of it. Your college experience depends on what you take away from it.

Best of luck to both of you!

Agreed with nyc395 but if you go to the NYU forum on their site, and look at the questions asked under LSP, that you should mention that your interested in LSP under ‘addition information’ on the application.
