Should I list a 4 on AP English Comp or 710 on Lit?

<p>Hey everyone,</p>

<p>So I’m just deciding whether I should list a 4 on English comp or the 710 I got on Lit for the common app. My other SAT II scores are quite good I think, 750 Spanish and 790 French, so I’m hoping they’ll overlook the low lit score. The 4 on AP English was a total fluke - I was getting 5s on all the practice tests. Anyway, I don’t really feel comfortable sending a 4 on English to any Ivies considering I’m talking about my interest in English, but 710 isn’t great either. What do you think?</p>

<p>If you can only send one, send the 4. If you took AP Lit prior to senior year, the adcom will probably be looking for that score. If you don’t list it on the Common App, they might wonder if it was really low. (And a 4 is not low.)</p>
