<p>I’m a junior at a very small high school and have never been exposed to any design courses, other than a small graphic design unit I took in my tenth grade technology class. This small unit was enough to make me want to pursue graphic design as my career. I’ve been thinking about visual communications as a major as well, but I’m just not sure. I want to work in advertising but I just… I don’t know how everything will fit together. I hope that makes sense. But I just don’t want to be completely unprepared, and go to college, and wind up being behind everyone else. I’ve asked this question on Yahoo! Answers and got a great answer with wonderful advice, but I would really like to hear what anyone else has to say.</p>
