Should I Memorize all the Vocabulary Words in the College Board Book?

Hi everyone! I was wondering if memorizing all the words in the College Board SAT book will help or should I just focus on
memorizing from other word lists? Also should I memorizing the prefixes and suffices, like are they helpful to know? Thanks!

I wouldn’t memorize them. You need to know how to use the word. If you read a lot then you should be fine. I just find memorizing countless lists of vocabulary words useless.

If you want to memorize, use flash cards. The yellow cards in Barrons SAT are good, or you can make your own. You can also google the words to get uses in context.

I’d memorize the words but not pre- and suffixes. I’d use Quizlet for vocab memorization.

Yes MEMORIZE ALL THE WORDS. On the Sat I took like three of the correct answers were from my barrons book

But I’ll say if your CR Score is 500, there are better things U could be doing. If it’s like 700 which mine was and the difference comes down to a couple of words, then I would memorize instead of using like PR lists
