Should i mention this?

I was deferred EA and just recently i joined a prestigous internat’l modeling agency (extremely well-known, one of the best). my question is: should i bother to mention this in the update letter im planning to send my ad officer in february? b/c it is a job and smthg. that is taking up a huge part of my life right now… but i dont want to mention it to my guidance counselor or my teachers b/c i kinda want to keep it on the dl (i dont want ppl at my school to start thinking im stuck up or anything). and also i just started so i wont be doing anything major for a while. but on the otherhand, this would make me stand out more in the applicant pool…any thoughts? thank you!

show us a picture !!

Yes, we can decide from your pic.

it wont hurt. btw if you want to discuss this in more detail my phone number is (555) 555-1234 (wait only if you are a chick lol)

seriously though, that can only help. it adds another layer to your already impressive app (its good enough to get deffered) id bet that this would be enough to tip you into the accpetance pile. keep working at it. so yeah, mention it.

I mean, are we talking Ford, or LA Models?? lol. If you’re at the Barbizon modelling school, I say keep it to yourself.

Next? IMG? DNA? Or what filmxoxo mentioned?

If you are part of any of those agencies, I am soooo jealous.

img… “barbizon modelling school” lol!

or some adult modeling agency down in sunny ole’ california… lol no, jk, u know i love ya!

hahaha… eww how sketch.

I don;t believe being added to a modeling agency will matter. It would be different if you had been in it before and it was like a full time job, but basically all you would be telling them is that you’re beautiful. I really don;t think it will make a difference, you shoudl focus on supplemental essays or improving grades/test scores.

I think you should include it, it can’t hurt.

If you’re really pretty, you should include a picture. All human beings (including admissions officers) are animalistic by nature…

RAwwrrr…

Ok, I’ll stop now. I’ve been acting weird and posting nonsense…I feel like I’m drunk, except I haven’t had a SIP of alcohol.

it depends on the time commitment. if you feel like it is taking up a good chunk of your time or is gonna affect your GPA or other ECs, definitely mention it. Congrats, btw!
