<p>Does Georgia Tech care if you name them first-choice re: admissions? I don’t really care about the paltry scholarship that they offer, particularly with HOPE, so I’d only name them if it helps me get in. So…does it? Or will putting NMSF on the awards section of the app alone do just as much for me?</p>
<p>It won’t help, although I’m sure your parents would appreciate $2k/year in reduced tuition/fees.</p>
