Should I not major in something else?

I was thinking of majoring in political affairs, and business economics because those are two majoring I belive I will enjoy. But I want to start up a housing company. Should I major in architecture, and entrepreneurship instead?

I can’t see why just majoring in buisness economics wouldn’t help you out in that, especially if that’s what you want to major in.

At a lot of the colleges that I’ve visited, the architecture schools are small, extremely selective, and geared toward those who are talented in art. It also seems very difficult to transfer in or out of the architecture school if you feel that it’s not for you.

Your choice also depends on what you want to do within your housing company…do you want to be the one actually drawing up the blueprints (ie, be the architect), or just be the one managing the operation? That could define what your ideal major would be.
