The deadline is October 31st! The thing is October was the first time I took my SAT, so I’m not sure what kind of score I would get. I’m pretty sure I didn’t mess it up, but I’m not sure if I aced it either.

The pros of ordering my score reports now are:
they will be sent on time (I’ve heard that my scores might get delayed due to an unfortunate situation. If I check the scores late & then choose to send the scores, the admissions office might not receive the scores on time :()
it’s free
I won’t be able to send my November scores for the early deadline anyway

The cons:
what if I totally bombed the test?! OMG I get nightmares about that
if I really, really messed up the test, I don’t want the admissions office to see them…
and that really matters to me. I’m super nervous.

What would you do in this kind of situation? Would you just order your score reports to be sent?
I already ordered them to be sent, but I can still change that until Oct 20.
Could anyone lend me some advice please?

If you have taken practice tests an done reasonably well, then you should order the test be sent to the EA school.
If you are nervous, wait on the rolling admission schools, but the EA one really needs your score to act on your application. To be on the safe side, you could call the EA Admissions office and ask, but the school needs your scores to act on your application and I’ve heard that there is a huge delay at many schools when you wait. They won’t be submitted and downloaded electronically at a specific time, and some schools might not do it again until regular decision rounds. Paper reports take time to be entered, etc. In fact, an MIT rep on CC flat out said that if the Oct test scores aren’t arranged automatically (and one waits to see his/her scores at the end of October), he/she will miss out because the scores will not be reviewed in time for EA decisions.
