Should I Point Out a University's "Flaw?"

<p>I’m writing an essay about one of my extracurriculars (let’s say it’s suicide prevention)…</p>

<p>Is it “dangerous” to point out to the college to which I am applying that they are lacking this student service (suicide prevention counseling) and that I would like to change that once I become a student?</p>

<p>don’t flat out say, University X has not done a good job of suicide prevention so i will focus my efforts on that. You can say you want to concentrate on suicide prevention, or maybe just mental health or something. It probably won’t help to say something bad about a university.</p>
