Should I postpone my SAT?

Hi guys!

I’ve been prepping for the SAT ever since May. Dad urged me to have the October SAT, but I told him I wouldn’t be ready by then.

Anyway, I signed up for the October SAT. But I am REALLY not yet prepared.

I took 3 practice tests this week to see where I stand now, and scored in the low 2200s range (in the three). But the odds were in my favor - I was lucky to have words I know and grammar concepts I’m skilled at. So I’m predicting a 2150 on October. (I don’t want to be shocked)

I want a 2300 and after some research, I read that the 2200 to 2300 path is very long. Can anyone verify this by the way?
So should I postpone my October SAT, or should I take it to get more used to the experience? (I had it once in June but I was extremely uncomfortable)
Please note that I’ll be superscoring for most of my dream schools.

also I read that 2200 scorers have a few weaknesses that they should pinpoint. Should I now use the tests I made, tell my weakpoints, and work ONLY on them? (reading is an exception, I’ll be having practice sections at least 3 times a week and studying the longer vocab lists)

If you have any advice, please do share! Thanks!
