Should I put "accepted to ----" when I chose to go to another program?

During my Freshman year, I applied to both the Boston University Tanglewood University (BUTI) and the Meadowmount School of Music, both of which would be my first music camps ever.

I chose to go to BUTI because I got offered a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship to cover half the program, which, combined with a grant from school, would cover the cost of airfare and the full tuition, with some money to spare.

I’ve been told that Meadowmount is really prestigious, and that I should put on a resume that I was accepted to attend. Does it seem like a cop-out and a form of unnecessary padding, or is it actually a legitimate thing to do?

You would not include a program that you were accepted to, but chose not to attend.

^ Any specific reason for this?

in my opinion you should write accepted to , as it will show your interests and determination to attend a camp.
but I am no expert so wait for other answers.
