1.) I took the ACT once and got a:

Composite Score: 17 out of 36

English: 14 out of 36

Mathematics: 16 out of 36

Reading: 19 out of 36

Science: 20 out of 36

Writing: 10 out of 12

Combined English & Writing: 18 out of 36

I only planned on taking it once because I am aware that only certain schools take the ACT but i wanna know if I should add this HORRIBLE SCORE. I don’t want to take it again because I got a 1880 on my SATs.

So should I add this ACT Score to the Common App?

2.) Also, Does anyone know what the lowest SAT cut off score is for any of the Ivy league colleges?

I know they don’t release the scores individually but I just wanted to know what is the lowest SAT score a student can possible get in order for an ivy to still accept them.

For example if someone had a 1350 out of 2400 on the SAT, would the Ivy’s immediately say no or will other factors like extracurricular, community service, GPA, AP, interviews, and Teacher Recs. play a part at all in influencing their decision and maybe overlook the poor SAT score? Not everyone’s a good test taker.

And I’m talking about Ivy’s like:

MIT

Stanford

Cornell

Princeton etc.
