firstly, my act is a 33 and i took it only once. Its an ok score for Yale i think, but i was wondering if i should retake for a chance of a higher score… would it look better to say i only took once with a 33 or multiple times with maybe a 34 or 35

second, i am trying to get some good scores on sat IIs for Harvard, but mt SAT I is much worse than my ACT (a 2040) and so i planned on using score choice for Harvard but not for Yale, since they do not have it obviously, so was wondering if Yale would look more favourably on, say, high SAT IIs (if i got good scores, that is) and a bad SAT I/decent ACT or just an ACT.

Finally, I really want to get into Yale. But, as a safety (hopefully) I have Georgia Tech. I want to apply to Yale SCEA but also want to apply to Georgia Tech in time to be considered for the Presidential Scholarship (which deadline is around October I believe?). Is it ok to apply to both Georgia Tech and Yale this year, and those would be the only two schools i applied to early.

^^ Not necessarily. From the FAQ portion of the Yale Admissions website:

I am not familiar with Georgia Tech. Is it a public school with rolling admissions, i.e., does it accept students as applications come in? If so, you can submit concurrent applications to Yale SCEA and Ga. Tech. Similarly, if Ga. Tech notifies scholarship recipients during the regular admissions cycle, you’re okay.
