So here’s my situation: I’m going to major in a science in college, and I have the following scores…

Bio-M: 780
Chem: 640
Math-I: 750
Math-II: 660

I’m retaking chem in June (I got a 640 because of no preparation, I’ll definitely get >700 this time), leaving me with potentially three >700 scores (which is good enough for me). Given a 760 on the SAT I Math and my ethnicity (Asian), would it be recommended to retake Math-I or Math-II? I really don’t feel like spending time studying over the next week, and I’d much rather focus on schoolwork and other activities.

In short: should I retake the Math SAT II’s? Or am I set with three >700 scores?

Just one more question: is there only one test date in October for ED applicants?

There is only one test date in October regardless of whether you are applying ED or not.

Unless you’re applying to a school that only accepts Math II, not Math I and/or you’re planning to apply to tech schools or as a math/engineering major, you’re set.

@Charlie Brown - Sorry, I phrased that poorly. What I meant to ask was: how many test dates (excluding the June SAT date) do college applicants have before the ED deadline? Anyway, I just checked CollegeBoard and found that the deadline for score reports is pretty much dependent on the college you’re applying to. Thanks though!

@teenage_cliche - I’m thinking of applying as a math/engineering major, so I think I’ll look up some more colleges over the summer and decide whether or not to take Math-II again in the fall. Thanks for the response!
