On the most recent ACT, which was my 2nd try, I got a 36 and was overjoyed. However, after doing a bit of research, it seems as if privates have some sort of hidden ‘preference’ for the SAT. My SAT is 2150, and I’ve only taken it once, way back in January. Should I retake the SAT or only submit my ACT? Will it hurt my chances?

There’s no hidden preference. Just submit your ACT for the schools that let you choose, and for the ones like Stanford, Cornell, Penn, etc. that require complete testing, send all your scores.

All colleges accept either score. The only professed preference is one school in CA for the ACT.

Thanks for the help guys! :D
