<p>SDSU doesn’t look at Writing part of SAT but I included it just in case. My eligibility index is 4500(I think…).</p>
<p>I’m a bit paranoid. I see a lot of people getting denied from SDSU so I don’t even know if I should consider this a safety or not?</p>
<p>EDIT: I’ve taken one ACT during the time I was studying for my first SAT. My first SAT I studied for a week and I studied for even less on my second SAT. So I could potentially get a higher score if I actually study for a longer period of time.</p>
<p>Your scores are good compared to their admission stats, but admission to any school depends on several factors- grades, and so on. Also the school admits 33% of applicants- so nothing is guaranteed. </p>
<p>I assume you are also applying to other schools. I think college admission is always somewhat uncertain. Since you have another opportunity to take the tests again with some preparation, why not give it your best shot?</p>
<p>It’s good to aim at a school where your stats are a good match, and expect that admission is likely, or even possible, but for a school that admits 33% of applicants, doing the best you can won’t hurt. It’s not been recommended to take the tests excessively, but since you have not done that, and you can prepare, another time may be better. Your scores are well in their acceptance range- it’s about increasing the odds in your favor if you want to.</p>
